IMG_3438The project "Strengthening of indigenous surveillance to overcome discrimination of indigenous peoples in decisions over their territories" seeks to strengthen indigenous surveillance systems on extractive activities and infrastructure that affect the territories and natural resources in four regions of the Peruvian Amazon (Cusco, Junin, Loreto and Ucayali).

Indigenous Surveillance - NED

P1230993The project "Strengthening the indigenous surveillance and its articulation with the state structure" seeks to promote policy proposals through the involvement of the authorities in the indigenous surveillance activities exploitation of natural resources, the institutionalization and articulation of indigenous surveillance in the State structure: This project also aims to strengthen existing mechanisms of indigenous surveillance regarding mining activities and exploitation of natural resources in the Amazon, improving the effectiveness of their intervention.

Status: Done.
Term: February 2015 - January 2016.

Promotion of Indigenous Rights - FORD

P1040982The Project "Promoting the integration of the right of indigenous peoples in the policies of socio-environmental development", seeks to present proposals and strengthen indigenous participation to accompany specific cases in the Amazon region; strengthen the agenda of participation, consultation and indigenous surveillance; and monitor Peru's commitments made in the framework of the COP20 and climate change in coordination with civil society and indigenous peoples' organizations.

Status: Done.
